What is the Montessori Approach?
The Montessori approach is a child-centered educational method that encourages natural learning through exploration, hands-on activities, and self-directed play. It focuses on developing independence, confidence, and a love for learning at each child’s own pace.
Can I bring my child along?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your child to experience our Montessori environment firsthand. This helps both you and your child get a feel for our approach and see how they respond to our prepared environments.
What happens during the session?
At Hillview, you’ll participate in an educator-led workshop about infant care. At Sunset Way, you’ll enjoy a self-guided journey through our learning stations with educators available for questions. Both sessions include door gifts.
How long is each session?
Each session runs for approximately 1 hour, allowing plenty of time to explore, ask questions, and understand our Montessori approach without feeling rushed.
What should I bring?
Just bring yourself and your child! We’ll provide all materials. If you have specific questions about your child’s development, feel free to bring those to discuss with our educators.
